Product coal is conveyed from the Mt Owen Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP) to the product coal stockpile where it is stockpiled according to coal quality. Coal is then fed into reclaim valves located above the reclaim tunnel by dozer push. Coal is then conveyed to the fully automated train loadout facility.

The Mt Owen CHPP, product handling and load out facilities operate 7 days per week, 24 hours per day
